The site faces north east and has distant views to the ocean. The concept was to put the living areas on the top floor to maximize views and the private areas on the ground floor opening onto existing mature frangipani tress.

The compact plan is made to feel much bigger by running the stair void the length of the house creating a double height space that links the two floors spatially and captures light and sea breezes.
